EEHA Awareness Training

Target Audience

This one (1) day program is a classroom based EEHA Awareness course targeted towards electrical personnel who wish to gain an appreciation of what a hazardous area is and the types of electrical equipment that can be used in a potentially explosive atmosphere.

Course Content

This course is an introduction into EEHA including valuable knowledge on the historical background, combustible substances, fundamentals of hazardous area classification and electrical explosion protection techniques. It covers basic aspects of equipment marking, certification requirements and the purpose of the hazardous area verification dossier.

Outcome

This is not a competency based course and no assessment tasks are undertaken.

Participants will receive a Record of Attendance at the completion of this Awareness training.
